Pete and his new fishing pole
This year we got to celebrate Christmas at home as there was a big snowstorm out. Actually at our house, it really wasn't blowing that bad, we just ended up with somewhere around 18 inches of snow and they didn't send the plows out. We did have a good Christmas, although I think it was kinda hard for Ryan to not be able to go out and hunt or ref or something and he actually had to sit at home. It was good for him though.
Christopher of course was overly spoiled with plenty of tractors and of course his favorite a fishing pole. He has been fishing like crazy ever since then as we tied a soft golf ball to the end of it and he's been casting better than I can!
Caitlyn also was spoiled as much as you can spoil an almost 4 month old and of course she could have cared less what was going on. She did sleep through part of opening presents and of course has been enjoying playing with her toys. She is getting very close to rolling...just needs to get her hands out of her mouth and she'll be there. I hope she makes it by 4 months in a few weeks!
Ryan and I also celebrated our 9th anniversary. We didn't go out due to the storm until last night. We tried to go to a movie but there wasn't any good ones playing so we just had supper and went home. Next year will be a better celebration.
This weekend we celebrate a few christmases and a wedding, so hopefully everyone will stay healthy. Ryan already has a bit of a cold though and was out all afternoon in the cold helping a neighbor scoop snow off his chicken barn roof as it was starting to collapse. Hopefully he'll keep that cold down and to himself.
