Lots of Smiles!

Cuddling with the Stine bear
Big smiles for daddy (as Christopher would say, "oh, that's a big smile")

Holding her own bottle while daddy works on the computer

This week we have been locked up at home. We're trying to ward off any germs for the next few weeks. We had our recheck at the hospital, and Caitlyn has done well gaining almost a pound in from Friday when she left the hosptial to Wednesday at our recheck and now weighs in at 11lbs 12 oz. On the other hand, mom also had her recheck and I can proudly say that I have lost over 40 lbs since Caitlyn has been born, now weighing less than I did before I got pregnant with her, and getting close to where I was before Christopher was born. Hopefully I can hang on to that too. Ryan, Christopher, and I all got our H1N1 shots this week, so in another week and a half, they'll be kicked in and ready to go also. Everything we can to protect little Caitlyn this winter!

Otherwise, Caitlyn is doing wonderful. She is smiling all the time, and sleeps about 4-5 hours at a time now, much better than the 3 hours last week! She even slept 6 hours straight in her own bed the other night. She has been doing her best to talk and giggle and has been getting little coos and giggles out here and there. Her best time of the day the last few days seems to be after 5pm and then she's up until almost 11. Yeah, that's not fun, but at least I'm not working yet! She continues to be most of the time "baby hold me lots" and "baby feed me lots" as we so call her.

Christopher also is doing well. This week he likes to tell us that he's going to eat all his food or drink his milk so he can be big like daddy or Jagger, just depends on the time of day as to who he talks about. He has soo much energy, and I know that he is missing the socializing of other kids, but it won't be much longer and he'll be back to daycare socializing more than we know. His other favorite thing this week... "me want that for Christmas" about every single toy he sees advertized on tv. It's going to be interesting! So far he has a list 5 times bigger than any of the rest of us for Christmas!
