Fireworks!

What a busy weekend it has been. Thursday night started out with Pete running one of those mystery fevers that last awhile and go away, so we decided to take it easy on Friday and not do much of anything. We were going to hit the fireworks in Sheldon, but because of the rain it got cancelled. Saturday we went to my aunt's house in Ireton with my mom and dad. Pete had a lot of fun playing with all the toys and riding in a big truck! Last night we went to the fireworks at Spencer with my mom and dad and my sister and her family. Pete was entertained for awhile, but the fireworks seemed to last a little long for him and his toddler sized attention span. As you can see, he's not a big fan of sparklers, he seems to think they're hot! When we got home he was so tired I don't think he even hardly woke up for me to put him in his bed! Hopefully we will be able to go golfing sometime yet this weekend because Pete has been begging to go every day, but the weather hasn't cooperated until now!

I had another doctor's appointment this week, and all is going well. 10 more weeks until the baby comes! Two more weeks until we go to Wisconsin, assuming all is well. After all the driving this weekend, I'm not totally convinced that I want to ride all that way, but we'll see how it goes!
