Golf Pro

This week, the boys have been very busy golfing. Outdoors and Indoors! Luckily Christopher is the only one golfing indoors, and we finally found the soft balls since he's been trying to use the hard ones and I'm pretty sure that there will soon be a hole in the wall since he can hit it quite a ways! Outdoors, Christopher's pretty funny to watch. He's been trying really hard to get the ball on the various tees we have set up around the yard, and successfully has done it once, but mostly he just gets one of us to help out. Then, he'll put up the club (one of Ryan's irons) on his shoulder, swing it to the ground, back it up slightly, and hit! He does pretty good! We have video, and if the weather ever cooperates so it's easier to download and takes less time I'll get it up because it really is fun to watch. Indoors, he has the professional swing down and he can send that ball flying across the basement! Watch out Tiger...or at least Dad!
Otherwise, he's been busy with the "Bossies". We now have 5 calves with 3 more to come. Most of them were born within 2 weeks of each other. Ryan also went to a sale this week out in the middle of nowhere South Dakota and bought a new bull and one other heifer...why both I have no idea, but he was kinda proud that when he went to the sale the one that Pete and him had picked from the catalog (Pete picked out the same one over and over by pointing to it) was really nice, came up and licked Ryan's hand, but just a little more expensive than he wanted. Hopefully Pete will like this one too. Pete did pick out the appropriate heifer several times though...yep, the one Ryan bought. Good to know they are thinking alike! Scary to think alike this soon in that department, we may be in big trouble here pretty soon with too many cows!
As to the new baby, went to the doctor this week again and all is going well. I am starting to think that I may be feeling a little better. I at least am getting a little more housework done!
