daycare and shots

I got some new hair bows for Caitlyn this past week, she doesn't seem to mind it too much!

Stretched out and content. Caitlyn has been really good this past week.

Christopher loves sitting in the bumbo too...I just think he's getting a bit big for it!

Well, this week has been extremely busy. I went back to work full time, the kids did daycare full time, and Ryan is taking out plots, refing basketball, and dealing with a cold. So far, he has been keeping it to himself, but this morning, it looks like he may have passed it to Christopher a little and Caitlyn has been a little bit stuffy the last day or so. Hopefully they just stay a tiny bit sick with a cold. Needless to say, we're all staying in today and taking good naps!
Thursday was shots and checkups for Caitlyn. She weighed 13lbs 4 ozs and was 24 inches long with a 16 inch head circ. That puts her at 90-100th percentile for her age. Way to go peanut! We were thinking that she was so much bigger than Christopher for her age, but looking back at his 2 month visit he was 13 lbs and 23 1/2 inches, so pretty much the same size by this point. Christopher grew fast once he started going! You'll have to go back on the blog to check out his pictures from April of 07 when he was this age...amazing how very much they look alike! She tolerated her 3 shots and oral immunization like a trooper and really hasn't had any problems from it that we've noticed.
We also started daycare again. Christopher is enjoying being back with the kids, Caitlyn is getting used to it all. She like Christopher did isn't eating nearly as well there, but good for us she makes up for it when she gets home often taking in 12 oz over 2 or 3 hours and then she sleeps for 6 or 7 hours. We like that! Too bad she goes to bed at 8pm though so we have to get up at 2 or 3! But, that will only get better I'm sure.
It's good for me to be back at work again. I really enjoy it and we have been very busy. Seems like h1n1 is slowing down a little in the kids here and hitting the adults, but luckily that hasn't been the majority of what we see. Mostly it's been people waiting for me to get back:) Needless to say I do a lot of extra showering in a day to keep those germs from coming home with me! Between that and my white coat, hopefully we'll be ok this winter.
Next weekend is baptism. Hoping that the kids stay healthy this week and don't get Ryan's cold and that everyone coming stays healthy as well!
