Friday night Christopher, Caitlyn and I went to pick apples at Ocheda with Grandma Lana and Great Grandma Edith. Christopher loves this annual adventure with Grandma Lana, and this year Grandma Edith came along instead of Jeana, Jagger, and Jaela. Caitlyn stayed in the car the whole time...but next year she'll be out there picking too! Christopher was having a ball picking the apples until he put one into Grandma Lana's bag and she told him there was bugs on that one so she didn't want it. Well, he was absolutely sure for the next 10 minutes or so that every apple had bugs on it and he didn't want anything to do with picking apples then! Finally they put him up high in the tree and he could pick apples and had more fun, and he forgot all about the bugs. In just a few short minutes, we had more then enough apples. Everyone went home eating their apples and of course Pete is already looking forward to the next trip.
