As you can tell, this is a long entry with three different posts, so keep going down to see all of them.
Christopher has been doing well, he keeps me busy at nights while Ryan is refing, and keeps busy during the day here when Ryan is home. He is enjoying all his tractors and plays with them constantly. His latest additions include a combine from us and a skidloader and dump truck he got with Caitlyn's baby present from one of the guys Ryan refs with. I am getting a little tired of constantly picking them up though. His vocabulary never ceases to amaze me, and he is now saying many many new words and sentences all the time. I guess it takes seeing Caitlyn to realize how big Christopher is really getting.
Caitlyn also is doing very well. We went in for her two week check up this past week and she is now up to 9lbs 2 ozs and 21 inches (started at 7 lbs 11 1/2 ozs and 19 3/4 in). She also slept 5 hours straight for us last night (yes, and even in her own crib, not next to daddy, her favorite place). She mostly just sleeps, eats, and fusses very little. She did make a trip to Sioux Falls with me this week and we of course got a few new outfits for her including a dress for Christmas. She definitely is a lot more fun to dress than Christopher ever was!
This week we finally will have a quieter week. Ryan will likely still be busy, but I have no appointments or plans so far so that really does help out. Now we'll be busy working on the baby book and finishing some projects. Wednesday night we do have pictures, so we're really excited for that too. Yes, and it is Ryan's birthday today, so we are hanging out at home relaxing for that.
