Maternity pictures

A few weeks ago we had some maternity pictures taken. Here are a few of our favorites. Everything seems to be going well so far with the baby. We're now at 36 weeks and so far so good. I'm getting really uncomfortable, and am VERY glad for a cooler forecast this coming week. The past few weeks of heat were a little hard on me. Christopher and I were busy moving him into his new room yesterday. His bedroom set finally came, and although he's been sleeping in that room for the past few months, yesterday we were able to organize things a little better and put up some decorations on the wall. I still have a few more things to get up, but it's looking a little less empty in there. We also started working on cleaning out some things in the baby's room and put the crib back together. By the end of the day I was shot and Christopher was too. Today my legs are really sore and tired from all of it. It's hard to say just exactly how much of things Christopher understands. He seems to get that there is a baby in my belly, and he often will tell us that he has one in his belly too. Last night I commented how the baby was really kicking me and of course our little copycat said his baby was really kicking him too. This morning he woke up and said to Ryan "Daddy, wake up! My baby is kicking me!" Hopefully soon he'll be a little less confused on it all!
Otherwise Ryan begins all of his fall business this week. He's still not quite done with golf, but this week he has his first high school football game (even though he has been doing the Sharks games some this summer), and he starts some of his fall farm shows with a trip to Mitchell tomorrow and Thursday. I'm just really hoping that I can get ahold of him when I need to! In just a few weeks he'll be doing 4-5 football games a week in addition to other farm shows and of course harvest will be just around the corner then too.
