Getting everything done

Last weekend we did some more golf. I actually was out hitting a little more again too, but it wasn't very pretty! Friday night Pete and I went to the football game to watch Ryan ref. Christopher was so excited that he had to go get his refing book to take along and was looking for an extra whistle, but couldn't find one. Otherwise we've spent the week being as busy as we can getting everything done. I have all my blankets crocheted for now, and the house got cleaned top to bottom yesterday, and we made a quick trip to Walmart again last night. Seems like we should be ready...just waiting for the baby to decide it's time now!

Pete continues to amaze us. Apparently he was at Grandma Edith's the other day and Amanda and her were talking about how Pete wanted to call daddy. So, Grandma spelled out "c-a-l-l-d-a-d-d-y" and before Amanda even had it figured out, Pete said "call daddy". Then, the other night in the tub, he was saying "my name is Gerber". I couldn't figure out what he was talking about until I saw him looking at the tag on his washcloth and it was a Gerber washcloth. He also talks about Walmart and Sketchers every time he sees the commercials on tv. Right now, he's been busy picking out names for the baby, we've gone through Emma, puppy, and now we've been on Trevor for a few days. All of course people he knows and likes. He keeps telling us that he is ready for the baby to come out so he can hold it, but we'll see if that changes when he gets to see the baby! Oh, and for those of you wondering, he did finally decide to take the green off his toes, but it took until Thursday to convince him that was ok!
