This weekend has been a busy one for us. We made a trip yesterday up to Omaha and came back today. Pete had a lot of fun seeing the animals at the big bass pro, and Ryan bought almost an entire new wardrobe, so he definitely stimulated the economy. If we had more time and the weather was nicer I think that would have stopped at the zoo. Hopefully we'll get there one of these days.
Friday Pete fell at daycare, we're not exactly sure how other than he was playing the backyard, needless to say he got a nice bruise on his head and an abraision on his chin. This afternoon he made his 4th or 5th trip falling down the steps, so he added to that bruise on his forehead making it much bigger. This time he was trying to carry a blanket up the steps...smooth. He also made his first disappearance act on the farm. Ryan had gone to look at the cows with another guy and Pete had gone with him. Pete wanted to come back, and Ryan thought he'd go to me as I had been outside, but since Ryan had Pete, I had gone in the house. I was busy doing dishes when all of a sudden I see Ryan and this guy leaving the yard in their trucks. I stopped them and we searched for him finding him in the cornpile in the barn scooping cornflakes in the bucket. Oh what a fun summer this will be!
Thursday Pete and I both had doctor appoitnments, Pete for his 2 year and me for a check of the baby. Pete is now at 29 lbs and 35 inches (50th percentile for height and weight, good to be average) and I am definitely getting bigger and feeling the baby move all the time. Heart rate of the baby remains between 155 and 160 consistently so far. We are getting really close to half way, and I continue to be sick and taking my friendly pill Zofran. At least I am doing well for the most part when I do take it! Pete is also doing very well with numbers, other than never saying 4 and making us say it, he can now count all the way to 15! His golf swing also continues to improve and will shortly be much better than me and Ryan's!
