Pete loves to walk around the house in our shoes...no matter which ones they are! We were actually kinda impressed with the way that he wore my heels and walked all over without tripping!

Pete put on his sunglasses on his own yesterday...he thought he was pretty cool.


Pete just keeps getting bigger. He says more and more words all the time. His favorite one lately is "daddy", although we are starting to think that he says "daddy" and "jackie" . Who knows though. He also is good at saying "excues me" and says "bossies" for the cows. His favorite thing to do with mom is help her "cook'. Half of our problem is deciphering exactly what he is saying. He always knows though! Today in church he decided that he wanted to go downstairs to the nursery, so he packed up his church bag and down he went. Smarty pants. It was time though...there's only so many "choo choos" you can yell out before people start staring! We have been doing a little better at night now, he doesn't really like to go to his bed now that it's a toddler bed and he has figured out he can get out. A few times we have caught him in the basement running around when we thought he was sleeping. He also likes to come to our room too, especially if we don't get his door shut very well. We have learned though that he will eventually settle down and not run wild around the house at all hours if we shut the door.
