Sweet Corn

Taking the bucket out to get corn
I can't find any corn in here!
Helping daddy carry back the corn
Husking the ears
Feeding the husks to the cows
Pete got bored husking corn, and decided to eat one for himself

Today we froze sweet corn. It was a big job, but Christopher seemed to have fun. The nice part was during the actual cooking and cutting of the corn, he was asleep for most of it. He woke up at the end, ate some, and then played awhile with Ryan during clean up and now the boys are sleeping again!


Otherwise, Christopher continues with his explosion of words. His favorite statement right now is "read, set, go!" and he'll either run around the house or throw something. He's also become very good (most nights) at putting himself to sleep by laying quitely and pushing the button to play music if he wants. What a great kid!
