golfing and new boots!

Up until today, the weather has been quite nice this past week! We've been getting plenty of time for golfing, walks, and runs outside. Christopher has also been enjoying the weather for golfing...he's getting pretty good at hitting the ball!

We got the rain boots for him a couple of weeks ago and he has finally accepted that he needs to wear the rainboots to go out and play with the cows. He also will actually get Ryan's boots and take them to the door if he wants to go out!

Yesterday, I found these boots in the closet for Christopher. We had gotten them as a baby present. I had thought that they were for a few years from now, but looked at the size and they are perfect for him right now. We put them on tonight...he fought them at first, but once they're on and he's walking all over the house, he thinks he's pretty cool stuff! The nicest part...there's a zipper there so we don't have to tie them on all the time!

We sat outside for awhile the other day and Christopher kept trying to pick up bark pieces and sticks to feed them to "da-doe" (yes, he is saying Shadow now!). What a smarty pants. We finally gave him the doggie treat that Ryan always feeds Shadow and of course, Shadow would come right up and eat!
