What a weekend

Christopher is getting closer and closer to being 1! This past weekend he had his last bottle...and he hasn't seemed to miss it at all since then! His sippy cup seems to be doing just fine, and, he is doing pretty good with a regular cup too. He is also starting to get the hang of a fork and spoon and loves to try them out with each meal. He will throw a fit if we try to help out!

Christopher, me and my mom had a long trip to Pella this weekend. The way down was nice, Christopher and Jacob (my sister's nephew) had a nice visit and entertained themselves very well. We then spent the day shopping in Des Moines and on to Pella late that afternoon for a shower for baby Nathan (my brother Jeremy and Sonja's baby boy that will be born in the next few weeks!) After the shower, we headed to Jeremy's basketball game and then woke up early the next morning and drove home in the blizzard. Luckily, Ryan stayed home this weekend as he ended up with the stomach flu the whole time we were gone!
