Christopher gets to pet the big "wooly bully". Good thing he's much more tame then his nickname makes him seem.

Thursday morning brought our first calf of the season. Ryan had said it would be born soon, we all thought it would be another month like it was last year, but this calf surprised all of us and was born outside in the field Thursday morning. Needless to say, it wasn't outside long, and now all the cows are back at our house, ready for the next one to be born. Saturday morning before it got too cold we took Christopher out to see it. He didn't quite know what to think. He was probably more interested in Shadow and Tinkerbell. Maybe when it gets a little warmer, he'll have more fun looking at the cows.
