9 months old!

Today Christopher turned 9 months old and we celebrated Thanksgiving. He tried out his first turkey meal today at Great Grandma Edith's house. He wasn't too hungry, but ate a few bites of turkey and some corn. He really liked the chocolate pie he shared with his dad later on in the afternoon after his nap though!

Christopher continues to grow. Last we weighed him he was over 21 lbs and he is somewhere around 29 inches or so by our measurements. We'll find out for sure at his next doctor's appointment in a few weeks. He likes to feed himself all the time, and his favorite foods somehow ended up being chicken nuggets, french fries, and macaroni and cheese, oh and yes, he still LOVES cheerios! He's cruising and crawling all over the place and is getting brave enough to stand on his own for periods of time...he gets too excited yet to take any steps though! He's becoming quite the little farmer and loves to play with his farm everynight on the kitchen floor while I make supper. He can usually keep busy playing with his farm for 20-30 minutes, which for his age is pretty amazing. He's saying a few words, mama, dada and hi have been coming out here and there. His favorite game every night is to play hide and seek with his dad. Ryan will hide behind the couch and Christopher will crawl up the back of the couch and look for him, and Ryan will pop up and say "boo" and Christopher just laughs and laughs and laughs! He is still very much a happy boy all the time!
