Tooth, tractors, and tamer of lions

This week was definitely busy. It all started Tuesday evening when we first noticed that Christopher had FINALLY gotten his first tooth. He did pretty good with it, and we really hadn't noticed any big changes in him to indicate that this would be happening! He has certainly been putting that tooth to good use by eating lots of Cheerios and bread and pancakes and crackers this week. He loves whatever table food he can get his hands on and he does a pretty good job at getting it all to his mouth!

As you can see, Christopher has also been Brent's big buddy. He was so scared of Brent when Brent was wearing his stocking hat to visit us one morning, but as soon as he could wear the hat, then they could be friends again.

Christopher had his first combine ride on Thursday afternoon. First he helped his dad haul loads with the tractor, and then they both went to the combine. Christopher and his dad have been going back and forth making tractor noises to eachother ever since! As you can see, the day got to be a bit tiring for Christopher!

And, while we were in Sioux Falls Friday wasting time at Sams Club, we found a lion for Christopher and they have been best friends ever since. He was so excited about his lion! This morning, as soon as he saw it he crawled up to it and tried to feed it his stuffed penguin. The master lion trainer does a very good riding the lion, crawling under it, and petting it! We can alrady tell they will be very good friends for many more years!
