Well, we have finally decided that it IS a tooth trying to come through. We were at first in denial and thought he was too young, but we've seen it and have decided it must be. It seems to come and go somewhat, and overall he is pretty happy, but sometimes he gets a little upset. Plus, as you can see, he LOVES to eat his hands and fingers (no thumb sucking yet!)...we tried a pacifier, but he hates them and will spit it out, so we're content with the hands.
This week, he also went swimming for the first time, but no pictures of that yet! If we get around to taking him again this week, we'll try to get a picture! He loved the pool and was in a floating ring for babies...he kicked his feet and smiled and talked and then fell asleep, but before too long woke up again and played in the water again. I thought the water may have been a little cold as he is used to his bath water, but nope, he loved it!
Today, for Father's Day, I finally let Ryan feed him some food. He has been begging to do that for a long time, so finally I gave in and Christopher ate some mashed potatoes at dinner! He seemed to like them and for the most part, I think that some may have gone down, but who knows! Yeah, again, no picture...but maybe if we try cereal this week!
He's still sleeping 10 hours or more a night, yep, we like it! He's usually sleeping by 9 (although lately it's been by 8) and sleeps until 630 or 7 in the morning... no wonder he's such a happy kid and smiles so easily!
