Here is farmer Christopher in his bib overalls, they're a bit big, but that's ok, we have the rest of the summer for him to grow into them yet!
Here is the crib quilt that Jeana made for Christopher's crib. She finished machine quilting it last night, and as you can tell, it turned out great! Each of the animals have a different texture of material on them. Now, she's going to work on the headpiece and bumpers to match. It has been another busy week here! Christopher had his appointment at the Doctor on Wednesday. He weighed 13 lbs even and is 23 1/2 inches long. They gave him 3 shots, and my nurse Linda, who works with me in Sheldon on Tuesdays, got to be the lucky one to give it to him. He screamed his heart out for the 3 shots, got done, glared at poor Linda, and then ate from his bottle and was fine! He slept quite a bit the rest of the evening and night, and has been a bit more fussy these last few days, but overall did well. We have learned that he does NOT like his Tylenol as he usually spits most of it back out (and we've tried 2 flavors), so our best bet is to follow it with a drink of milk and he gets most of it down!
Today he also had his first experience with a babysitter at our house. My cousin Amanda watched him and Jagger while Jeana and I went to Worthington to get a few things. Sounds like he did well! We'll have to try that out again sometime!
