Well, this past Wednesday started out like any other day, but we soon realized that my blood pressure had elevated again, so I was admitted to the hospital. The blood pressure went down a few hours after I was admitted, however around 11pm that night just as Ryan was getting ready to leave the hospital for home, my water broke and we welcomed Christopher Patrick Freese into the world at 10:06 am on Thursday, February 22, 2007. He weighed 6lbs 6ozs and is 19 inches long. He has lots of hair already and we think he is so cute! You can also check him out on the cradle roll at www.nwiowahealthcenter.org
Christopher is a special name. Ryan's Grandpa Haley gave us a boy and a girl name at Christmas for our baby that he knew he would not get to see. He passed away shortly after Christmas, but we know that he would be thrilled!

Congratulations you guys!!! Christopher Patrick is one handsome dude! We had been thinking about you two lately and were wondering how things were going. We received an e-mail from you recently but were unable to read it. We are glad we checked your site!
Have fun with Christopher...being a parent is an amazing life change and a true gift from God. Kailey just turned 3 weeks yesterday and is keeping us busy:)
